1. The Gamma Camera
This camera allows an image of where a radioactive tracer is acting to be taken. Gamma photons, perhaps from technetium-99m, pass through a collimator to a scintillator, then through a light guide to a photomultiplier, finally allowing an image to be formed on a computer.
