Exam Technique: Where Marks Are Actually Lost

Masterclass

Mock exams, end of unit tests, homework questions. A Level Physics is built on problems you're asked to solve, and marks go missing in the same places every year.

Timed for the weeks before school mocks, this session goes through command words and what each one is asking you to do, laying out your working so the marks are there to be given, significant figures and where they quietly cost people, and how examiners mark the dreaded 6-markers.

We'll use real mark schemes and anonymised student answers, so you can see the common mistakes rather than be told about them.

There's time for questions at the end.
